Thanks for all your e-mails, and the obvious effort which you are putting in to organising the event.

 

As I have let Eric know, Piet Bekker and I will be arriving on Thursday evening, and will be attending the spit.

 

Probably not the dinner, unless someone is prepared to rent out their spouse/partner for the evening.  Such an arrangement would, however, be subject to verification of vital statistics, which has a tendency to ruin friendships.
