Phew, we all
survived a great night, well worth it and not as expected.
Everyone
thought that it was just to be social drinks, chat and meet all the guys
and get your shirt. Unbeknown to me Eric had organised via Paddy de Lacy the rugby room at
the club which turned out to the sucess of the night. We were able to in
our own comfort without the distractions of other club members to enjoy
old and new friendships.
Beer flowed
freely and many happy memories were delved into, laughter abounded and a
good time was had in guessing who was who. Some were almost impossible to
recognize, some were hard, some were the same but after a while even the
impossible ones became familiar and it was as if we were all back at
school. A thoughrouly great event. Different groups went to various venues
for supper and to await the morrow.
Shirts were
handed out and we all wore them to the ceremony which had a fantastic look
and received very admiring glances and comments.
